A grey seal pup, (or Atlantic seal), on the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve at Donna Nook, Lincolnshire. The total British population of grey seals is of major international conservation importance, making up around 50% of the world population. The majority of the pups at Donna Nook are born on the edge of the sand dunes and the pups appear in late October, with the beaches mainly empty by the new year.
